Victory’s Grant Brebner endorses the Soccer Time Kids program.
Approaching their 5th year anniversary Soccer Time Kids has had over 10,000 students participate in their 40+ clinics across Melbourne.
Established in 2007 by Bill Angeloglou this proud Australian owned and developed organisation revolutionising early child development using soccer as its main medium.
The Soccer Time Kids programs are designed to encourage physical activity by exposing pre-schoolers to the basics in balance, co-ordination and movement. Throughout the classes are elements of rhyme, literacy, colours, shapes and number identification. Classes are specifically designed and run by experienced and highly trained coaches to encourage social development together with parents in a fun and safe environment.
“As a teacher...I believe the program is very well organised and run; very well structured”.
What sets Soccer Time Kids apart from the rest is the method by which the coaches, not only coach soccer skills, but also teach. As an educational sports pre-school program we have teamed up with leading experts in research coaching approaches, early years learning and development outcomes as well as cognitive development methods that are specific to preschool aged children. Here’s what some of the parents have had to say about Soccer Time Kids “As a teacher… I believe the program is very well organised and run, very well structured” Kath - Ringwood and “I am really surprised how much the kids learn at their age. Your program provides the fundamental ball and social skills” Stefan - Aspendale Garden. Ultimately the program should provide at an early age, a positive image for education and sports as well as health and well-being for the youth of our future. Whether or not our students go on to become the next Harry Kewell or David Beckham, the program will undoubtedly provide the best start in life skills and long term benefits.

Franchising is new to Soccer Time Kids but due to the rapid ongoing growth and high demand it only seemed right to begin a new journey forward.
To date, Soccer Time Kids has granted 3 franchises; Berwick, Cranbourne, Frankston and their surrounding suburbs which are now owned and operated by two couples, Jackie and Nigel Chaplin with friends Chris and Frauke Lever. The new franchisees were parents that had their children enrolled in one of the Soccer Time Kids programs and when they heard about the potential in owning a Soccer Time Kids franchise they quickly took up the opportunity and they haven’t looked back.
The two couples purchased 3 territories that included existing locations (Berwick, Frankston North and Cranbourne), these venues already held quite a large client base and revenue. This wasn’t enough to satisfy their enthusiasm so they proceeded to open up a further 3 locations to start their first term with Frankston South, Mornington and Pakenham - all 3 of which are running successfully. In Term 2 they plan to open up a further 4 new locations some of which will be running on multiple days along with their existing locations which also plan to run on multiple days.
“Having 2 little ‘Soccer Time Kids’ ourselves, the decision to get involved & buy a franchise was easy. We already knew what a great program it was & being able to work from home, balancing motherhood & work has been great. The team are fantastic to work with & I know are only a phone call away.” Jackie told Soccer Time Kids.
The Soccer Time Kids program has had a great impact on various community groups and organisations across Melbourne. The Company always make sure they give back through fund raising and charity events, from donating soccer balls to HeartKids Australia, running fun days for the Cancer Kids Foundation, having raffle drives with all proceeds going to the MS Society and many more. Sponsorship is also provided to less fortunate families every term. Its doesn’t end there, the Soccer Time Kids team is always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to provide a service of the highest standard to their current, future and existing families. They do this by providing deals and services that will benefit the kids and their families. Members and followers of Soccer Time Kids receive specials and discounts through various affiliations and sponsorship held with The Athlete’s Foot stores across Melbourne, Football Galaxy soccer superstore and Forza Italia merchandise store. Reusch, one of the largest manufacturers of sporting attire are also on board to provide quality clothing and merchandise for students enrolled.
The team at Soccer Time Kids is a passionate group and knows the importance of early childhood development and life memories for all involved.
